10th Birthday Party

Nic's & Katie's birthday is this Tuesday, but we had a party today at ShadowLands Laser Adventures. 12 kids (+1 older sister who wanted to play) had a fun two hours of Laser Tag, pizza, and cake. How 'bout that cool dungeon motif? And Katie is purposefully holding the gun backwards in the first picture-just to be silly.

Renaissance Festival

Today we went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival with the Quiggs and Petersons. We also ran into the Capuyans and Veseys while we were there. The kids had fun on the slide, enjoyed the joust, rode the (free) ponies, ate a turkey leg, rocked out to bagpipe music, and laughed at the comedy stylings of Hack and Slash. Jenna's pirate outfit made me laugh.
