Church Picnic

Our Newport church had a picnic last Saturday. We stayed out most of the day at a beautiful state park, right on the water. Nic & Katie discovered Ga-Ga and played it almost non-stop. There was also much food, frisbee, volleyball, egg-tossing, and sun. We also had a baptism for one teen. It was a great day. We all got a little sun-burnt, but had a really nice time.

Hoberman Toy

At the Boston Museum of Science, Nic & I got a Hoberman Switch Pitch. It's an incredibly intriguing toy ball that flips from one color to another when you toss it. I find the engineering amazing.

Museum of Science

Yesterday we took the kids to Boston's Museum of Science. The museum itself was a blast (although Boston traffic on a rainy day isn't so fun.) Here are a few pictures. (Nic looks worried about the giant grasshopper eyeing his head, but he's not too concerned with the T-Rex who may step on him.)

Fenway Park

Karla and I went to a game at Fenway Park last Sunday. Excellent (read "expensive") seats. 14 rows up from home plate. We had a great time.

Were our kids ever really this small?

Some old video that always makes me smile. Taken Easter 2003.

Jumping on the Blogwagon

C'mon, everyone's doing it...

OK, it's time to start an online place where we can post pictures, videos, etc.

Just don't expect it to be updated very often...
